Petra Kaczynska is a major character in the story Ashley and plays a minor role in Laura.
Early Life[]
Petra was born in London on the 22nd of January 2003 to parents who had emigrated to the UK from Poland. She has one older brother (b 1994), an older sister Aleksandra (b 1998) and a younger sister Ariadna (b 2007). Petra's family were not wealthy, with both parents having to work full time to support their family, but in early 2016, the family won £500 000 on the national lottery.

- As Petra was born to Polish nationals living in the UK, her nationality is legally Polish, however as she was born in the UK, she is eligible to apply for British nationality should she wish to do so.
- However, her sister was born British as her parents had acquired permanent residence in the UK prior to her birth (which they had not done when Petra was born).
- Petra is the first member of her family to have been born in the UK.
